What’s this?

The Save The Date cards consists of an “announcement” by the spouses through which they communicate their decision to get married and “ask their guest” to keep themselves available for a defined date.

Does it mean that we do not need to send the invitations? Yes, too! The Save The Date can, in fact, be considered a preview of the most official and detailed wedding invitations.

When to send it?

The Save The Date is sent precisely on the wave of the enthusiasm of a proposal just received or a date just set. For this reason, it may not even contain all the details of your wedding day. If you also already know the place where you will get married, you can add it, but it is not essential. It is practically a “wake-up call” that anticipates all the guests, especially those who live far away, that your wedding will take place on that day!
