Summergrove Estate Wedding Photographer – Amy & Jed
Tell me how you first met? Jed saw Amy in the health food aisle at Coles one day and decided to go up and help her out. They exchanged phone numbers and continued to talk over text for a couple of weeks until Jed finally convinced Amy to go on an official date with him.
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did ?. etc. Jed knew within the first week of dating that Amy was the one and Amy knew when she introduced Jed to her family and he instantly connected with not only them but more importantly her nephew just as much as he did with his own.
About the proposal. Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? , how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out? Jed proposed a total of three times! The first after we decided to buy a ring together, (Amy said of course but that he needed to ask her parents first), the second after Amy was having an emotional day and Jed wanted to reassure her that everything was going to be okay and lastly, after Jed finally got around to asking both of Amy’s parents for their permission, they went out for sushi and he took her to an arcade where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
One thing you love most about each other Amy – I love the way Jed is completely positive in almost every circumstance. He finds fun in everything and helps me to enjoy the moment. Jed – I love the way Amy has a similar sense of humor to me and that she can make me smile no matter what just by smiling at me.
Besides getting married — what was the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day? Jed – Other than marrying the woman of my dreams, I can’t lie, I’m totally looking forward to our doughnut favors! Amy – I’m absolutely looking forward to sharing our happiness with our closest family and friends, particularly my mum. We all never thought she would see the day, so that will be what I most look forward to, seeing her see me.
What inspired your decor or themes? Summergrove’s beautiful scenery inspired me along with the beautiful floral printed bridesmaid dresses we found a couple of months later. We wanted to portray the soft, romantic elegance in our own special way.
