Ancora tweed Coast Wedding
MONICA & ROB at ANCORASome weddings just stay with you, and Monica and Rob’s day at Ancora Weddings is definitely one of them.
It rained pretty much from morning to night — the kind of steady rain that usually makes couples nervous — but honestly, it only added to the feeling of closeness and warmth that followed them through the whole day.
What stood out most was how calm they both stayed. Nothing rushed, nothing forced. Just two people excited to get married, surrounded by the people who love them most.

The day began at a cosy Airbnb near Tweed Heads.
Monica got ready with her bridesmaids, and the whole space felt full — in the best way. Laughter, hairspray, someone searching for a missing earring, the dress hanging quietly in the corner waiting for its moment.
It was relaxed. Familiar. The kind of morning you wish every couple could have.
Monica’s Luv Bridal gown suited her perfectly, and once it was on, you could feel that shift — the “it’s really happening” moment.
One of the reasons I love photographing weddings at Ancora is how well the space holds up in any weather.
Even with the rain coming down, the venue felt bright, clean, and warm. The big windows, the soft coastal light, the modern interior — it all came together beautifully.

Their first dance was especially beautiful — soft lights, happy tears, and two people wrapped up in their own little world for a minute.
