Gold Coast Wedding Photographer – Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove

Tell us a little about your day…

We got married at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove in October 2019. We had our ceremony in the gorgeous chapel and had a canapé and cocktail style reception around the fountain terrace. It poured down raining for 2 days prior until about 2hrs before the ceremony, the sun shone for us and the wedding gods pulled all the stops for us to have the outdoor reception that we had dreamt of for so long. It was the best day ever.

If we could do it all again, we’d tell ourselves…

To lap up every moment because the day goes so fast that before you know it, it’s over.. although Mario’s photos totally help us relive our day and fill the void in our lives 😂

If we could offer any advice to future couples it would be…

Book Mario x1000000 but also make sure you take time to be together and really present with each other on the wedding day. It can be filled with so much noise and so many friends and relatives but all that matters on that day is you and your new husband/wife – enjoy all the little moments and step back and take it all in together, appreciating everyone there and how much work has gone into your perfect day.

Our experience with Mario as our photographer was incredible, we really couldn’t have asked for a more talented and hilarious photographer to be apart of our day. He was the perfect mix of fun and professional. Most importantly he made all of us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Not once did I feel like I was having a photoshoot, I felt like I was just having fun with my girlfriends the morning of the wedding and then almost forgot he was there during our wedding – I would have completely forgotten he was there if he wasn’t so hilarious. We have already recommended him to everyone and anyone that we know is getting married. You’d be crazy to not choose him as your photographer. We can’t wait to share all our milestones in life with Mario as our #1 photographer and definitely a good friend now.
