Gabbinbar Homestead Wedding
What a stunning venue Gabbinbar Homestead. This was the perfect venue for Rebecca and Michael who had their dream wedding in April, at the iconic Toowoomba homestead.
Tell me how you first met? Who what when where why?
we met at the Met nightclub, my cousin was meeting up with one of Michael’s friends and we had a great time together until I got too drunk and had to go home. We kept seeing each other for close to 6 months before we started dating.
Tell me about the proposal. Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? , how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?
he brought me a trip to Europe for my birthday based on the proposal. we left Brisbane 6 hours later than we should have and arrived in Norway 12 hours later than planned. When we arrived we were planning a hike and the only day it was sunny was the day we arrived, we arrived in Norway at 1 am and got up at 3:30 am to do the hike. after 8 hours of hiking we arrived at the top, getting out to the cliff face I nearly slipped as it was quite icy still, I was panicking and getting upset wanting to get off until he proposed in front of about 20 people, I burst into tears and fell to the floor while everyone cheered.
Besides getting married — what was the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
Dancing and seeing Michael cry (maybe)
